Map of North IslandAlder Bay is easy to reach in many different ways, by land, sea or air.

Highway 19 connects Port McNeill to Victoria and Nanaimo. It is a paved double-lane highway that stretches the entire length of Vancouver Island. Around major centres, the Highway has been expanded to four lanes.

The road is well maintained and motor-home friendly with breathtaking scenery the entire route.

Turn off Highway 19 onto Beaver Cove Road.  The entrance to Alder Bay Resort is on the left, 6 KM down Beaver Cove Road.

B.C. Ferries connects to the mainland from several directions. From Victoria and Nanaimo to Vancouver, and from Port Hardy to Prince Rupert via the spectacular Inside Passage.
